Quick Update

I realized I hadn't updated my blog for such a long time that I think some people (well, the only person I know who reads this on a regular basis..thanks Shell!) think I may have fallen off the face of the earth.

I'm good, Q-man is good. It's all good..more updates to follow!

Wonderful Weekend

Not too much new to say, however a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my friend Sav! She's now old like me! Come to think about it, this year marks 31 years of knowing each other. A fossil dated friendship..the best kind!

Finally got around to shaving Quincy on Saturday, and he's so much more cuddly now. I suppose having all that hair on you makes you both hot and not able to feel the rubs the way you would like. Now, he's practically begging me to rub and snuggle him. And he's not sleeping in the bathroom anymore either. This is a picture of him taking a nap on his Grraaaama's lap.

Gee, you know if anyone just stumbled upon this site, and didn't know I was speaking about a dog, this could be construed as a little riske!

Sometimes the internet is so WEIRD!

You know, the internet can be a scary place. Lots of undesireable sites, and the like. But sometimes when you are REALLY REALLY bored, you stumble upon the weirdest shit. Check out the following:

BTW, for all those of you who were wondering, Quincy is fine! He had a bit of a proceedure done on Friday to get his teeth cleaned. Now they are so pearly white and sparkling, but I will spare you the picture. The internet is weird enough without a picture of "Peekieboo's" mouth..

Stampede Superdog!

Okay, I know Stampede is over now, but I had to show off what I bought Quincy! It's a super cool bandana! He is a Superdog, not an official member of this group, only in my mind and the minds of his friends.

I saw the Superdogs show when I went down to the "grounds" last Friday afternoon. Our office allows us to have a half day off to partake in Stampede festivities, so Friday was my day.

I'm thinking that maybe I should have put him in this kind of program, he would have had fun. However, I cannot get over their cheesy, effeminate MC. Each year I cringe at his over the top delivery and hope that this year is his last. I do enjoy the show despite him though. Those dogs are so talented.

A few years ago, actually when Quincy was just over 1 years old, I tried to enroll him in the PALS program. They do awesome work, and I'm not slagging them in any way, but the woman who interviewed us kept telling me that mutts are not as smart as purebreds. Needless to say we were turned down. Now anyone who knows Quincy would know that he would have been perfect for this. But, he found a different way to make people smile. I walk him and people know him, but not me. They always yell out "Hi Quincy!" I don't get a greeting at all which I think is cool!

A big pbttthhhh!!!!!! to the woman who told me Quincy was not suitable for the program. You have no idea what you are missing!
